Steve and Susan Bailey are the owners of Mt. Pleasant Growers, which is located on a 35 acre farm in the Mt. Pleasant community of Amherst, Virginia. We produce fresh high quality hydroponic microgreens, lettuce, greens, and herbs year- round. We pride ourselves in being good stewards of the environment by recycling the water we use and being able to produce our crops on 1/10 of the water necessary for a traditional land-based farm. We do not use herbicides, pesticides, or preservatives on our produce, so what you are eating not only tastes good, but is also good for you.
